Australia and Puerto Rico need our help

Support efforts to bring relief to victims of devastating natural disasters

Australia is experiencing its worst fire season to date, with 15.6 million acres of land continuing to burn. For reference, that’s more than eight times the size of land destroyed by the California wildfires in 2018, according to Vox

At least 27 people and 1 billion animals have been killed so far. Other Australian inhabitants are being displaced from their homes, living with major smoke inhalation and worrying about what these fires mean for their own future and the future of their country’s biodiversity and land. Australia needs our help.

Meanwhile, a public health emergency has been declared in Puerto Rico after a 6.4-magnitude earthquake struck the island this week, following one of 4.5 magnitude last week. All of this while the island and its people are still recovering from 2017 Hurricane Maria.

At least 75% of homes are without power, schools are closed, homes and buildings are on verge of collapse and residents of the island are wondering how they will be able to start rebuilding once again. Puerto Rico needs our help.
