  • Emily Ball (she/her)

    SENIOR PHILANTHROPY ADVISORS

    Emily has broad expertise in philanthropic planning and nonprofit development, helping to create partnerships that improve lives and build healthy, vibrant and sustainable communities. Prior to joining Goodnation, she led the major giving program at MADRE, an international women’s rights organization. Emily has earned the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP) designation from the American College of Financial Services and holds a MA in International Affairs and a BA in Political Science.

  • Rob Hansen (he/him)

    FOUNDER AND PRESIDENT

    Rob has over 20 years of experience in philanthropy. As a Development Director, he raised funds from leading New York City foundations and ultimately joined the Robin Hood Foundation, where he worked for five years. At Robin Hood he came to understand the power of engaged philanthropy and the importance of measurable impact. Prior to launching Goodnation, he consulted with high-performing nonprofits on fund development and strategic planning issues. Rob has an MBA from HEC Montréal and a BA in English Literature from McGill University.

  • Corry McKee (she/her)

    FISCAL SPONSORSHIP MANAGER

    Corry has spent most of her career in program and relationship management, predominantly in the nonprofit world. She has extensive experience leading cross-organizational teams in the creation, implementation and execution of initiatives and programs. For over a decade, Corry has worked with board and leadership teams, assuring governance and operational best practices and compliance for both c3 and c4 organizations. She holds an MA in Environmental Conservation Education from New York University and a BA in Psychology from Rutgers University.

  • Surabhi Prabhu (she/her)

    FINANCE OPERATIONS MANAGER

    Surabhi has varied experience in managing nonprofit programs and partnerships. She formerly worked with Asia Initiatives as a Program Director, managing all aspects of projects supported by the organization. She has also worked with Citta as a budget and grants manager. She holds an MBA in International Finance from Cleveland State University and an MA in Economics from Mumbai, India.

  • KJ Shepherd (they/them)

    FISCAL SPONSORSHIP MANAGER

    Before coming to Goodnation, KJ worked in nonprofit development and communications, union policy and organizing, and statewide systems coordination. A historian by training, KJ has also been a community college teacher, podcast producer, and essayist. KJ is excited to use what they've learned along their winding path to work with organizations making profound and necessary social change.

  • David Stone (he/him)

    BOOKKEEPER

    For over twenty years, Dave Stone has been engaged in the finance world - from commercial corporate entities to many 501(c)(3) organizations. A musician by training, he came to the accounting world through a stint at the video game company Atari and from there became enmeshed in the world of bookkeeping and accounting. From January 2010 he has been an independent contractor and currently manages a roster of 11 entities, both for and non-profit.

  • Meghan Zichelli (she/her)

    CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

    Meghan leverages her communication skills to strengthen Goodnation’s brand and partnerships as well as to develop an inclusive and productive workplace environment, supporting the team members through their employee lifecycle. Before joining the team she worked at the Robin Hood Foundation, New York City's largest poverty fighting organization. Prior to Robin Hood, she managed communications and operations at Friends of Firefighters. Meghan has a BA in Communications and Marketing from American University.

  • Chelsea Jia, Board Chair

    DOOLA

    Chelsea holds a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Dartmouth College. She started her career in equity capital markets and trading in Hong Kong with Deutsche Bank and Wellington Management Company before moving back home to New York City.

  • Kirk Parks, Treasurer

    PRESIDENT, PARKS MUNICIPAL CONSULTING

    Kirk has an extensive background in financial analysis and applied econometrics. As Bureau Chief of Financial Analysis for the NYC Comptroller’s Office from 2010 to 2014, Kirk managed the team responsible for reporting, analyzing, and projecting the City’s $80+ billion cash flow. Kirk came to the Comptroller by way of the Treasury Division of the NYC Department of Finance, where he served as an Analytic Advisor from 2008 to 2010. In his consulting practice, Kirk provides analytic support and financial guidance to corporations and to prominent non-profits.

  • Tom Richard, Esq.

    DIGNITY FUND

    Tom is a co-founder and former Managing Partner of RTGR Law, where he provides legal counsel to public agencies and nonprofits on labor and employment issues. He studied leadership and governance at Harvard University and has served as a board member and chair of various organizations in the legal, educational, and nonprofit fields. He is also the Managing Director of Dignity Fund, supporting initiatives to strengthen democracy and equal access to justice in the United States.

Michael S. Glickman

Michael is Founder & CEO of jMUSE. Prior to jMUSE, he served as President & CEO of the Museum of Jewish Heritage, led the Center for Jewish History, and served as vice president at Long Island University. He received his MPA from Columbia University and his MA and BA from Long Island University.

 
Mali Locke

Mali Locke

Most recently, Mali was a director of the Milken Institute Center for Strategic Philanthropy. She started her career in philanthropy at the Robin Hood Foundation. Mali has a bachelor’s degree in French literature from Yale University, an MS in organization change management from the New School University, and a certificate in Nonprofit Management from Columbia University Business School.

 
Spencer Robertson

Spencer Robertson

Spencer is CEO and Founder of PAVE. Before launching PAVE, Spencer worked at North Star Academy Charter School of Newark and prior served as a program officer at the Tiger Foundation. He holds an MBA from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business, with a focus on the nonprofit sector.
