Five nonprofits you can support in response to hate crimes against Asian-Americans

Responding to hate crimes against Asian-Americans

The Stop AAPI Hate reporting center received nearly 3,800 reports of anti-Asian hate incidents from individuals across the US between March 2020 and February 2021. While hate crimes against Asian-Americans are not new in this country, there has been a sharp increase in reports since the start of the pandemic. Attacks include verbal assault, physical violence and fatalities, as we saw in the horrific mass shooting in Atlanta, Georgia one week ago.

Through your giving, you can help support the immediate needs of the Asian-American community and fight for an end to the hate and violence they have suffered for far too long. Below are a few organizations on the Goodnation platform led by or supporting the Asian-American community, condemning xenophobia and white supremacy, and also fighting for stricter gun control.

As always, you can log on to your Goodnation account or email your Philanthropy Advisor to learn more about and support these organizations and others fighting for equality.
